Multiple Streams of Income?

OK...OK...OK...before you click to another blog site because all this "Multiple Streams of Income" jazz is beginning to sound a bit like a cheap infomercial--sans cheesy gold chains and the scantily clad bikini girls on a yacht,--please hear me out.

Through the Grace of God I've recently discovered one of the oldest "secrets" to creating wealth that has eluded the average middle and lower class worker for centuries.  This secret is simply securing as many sources of revenue as possible.  For example: most of us have a main-gig, but it's equally important to seriously consider starting your own company as a side-gig--as soon as possible--to begin generating additional sources of revenue during these uncertain economic times. Outside of the incredible tax benefits of starting a home-based company, the pride that comes from creating something out of nothing empowers you to accomplish the seemingly impossible.

I’ve known for a long time that I had a book inside of me but never really knew what I would write about or how to begin. As a result of my life-changing epiphany and noticing others around me who also began to change, I now knew exactly what the subject would be. But the anointing during that unforgettable a.m. run made it clear that it was no longer something I “wanted to” do but rather, I “had to.”  How could I disobey what God had placed on my heart and expect Him to continue to bless me? This guide has sparked the creation of Omega Consulting Enterprises, LLC. After getting a DUNS # (Data Universal Numbering System, abbreviated as DUNS or D-U-N-S, is a system developed and regulated by Dun & Bradstreet, which assigns a unique numeric identifier to a single business entity) and registering in the Central Contractor Register (CCR), I am now better positioned to win millions of dollars in government primary and subcontractor awards. Dare to dream!

If you’ve always dreamed of starting your own business by using the talents God has bestowed upon you, do it! However, as we swing thru the jungle of life it’s best not to fully release one vine before securely grabbing another. In other words, you don’t have to leave your primary job (vocation) to begin the career that God intended for you to do (avocation). Simply start taking steps towards preparing yourself to be blessed. This is the Prosperity Law of Preparation.

   Have you ever wondered why it took the Israelites 40 years to travel a distance that should have only taken 11 days when they left Egypt? Moses knew about the Prosperity Law of Preparation and had to prepare the Israelites for their future blessings. Remember, not only did Pharaoh have their bodies in bondage, but their minds were still in bondage even after fleeing Egypt. Is your mind still in bondage?

   While Moses led the Hebrews in the wilderness amid barren experiences, they had to begin to mentally prepare to receive their future blessings. Otherwise, they would not be able to recognize and accept those blessings when they came. Moses knew that hard times were actually periods of inner preparation for the greater good to come, so he invoked the Prosperity Law of Preparation by describing the vast abundance that awaited the Hebrews. Moses fully and specifically described the Land of Milk & Honey to his people even though they were currently wandering the desert with famished bodies, minds, and spirits. Are you mentally prepared for your Land of Milk & Honey? Are you truly ready for all the things you’ve prayed for and asked God to bless you with? If not, please begin now to mentally prepare yourself for the blessings that await you. Far too many have squandered God’s blessings, and I pray that you will not become one of the casualties.

   It’s been said that some of the smartest people make lousy entrepreneurs because they believe they are so smart that they can easily predict all of the problems, roadblocks and hurdles they’ll need to overcome in order to succeed. They can think of all kinds of reasons why an idea won’t work before it even sees the light of day, and mentally euthanize the idea. This false prophetic foresight crushes possibilities and dreams. Therefore, when we want something, let’s focus on the positive things while being respectful of the potential barriers and obstacles. To reach our goals we really “have to” want them. More importantly, we “have to” believe that we can do it—think more about why we can make it happen instead of why we can’t. The fact that you are reading these words now is the biggest testament to what is possible.
